Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy
Pick up from Nairobi Hotel at around 0730hrs. Proceed to Sweetwaters game reserve and Chimpanzee sanctuary. Sweetwaters is the only sanctuary for the rehabilitation of chimpanzees in Kenya. Two groups of these primates live in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. This is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy
Sweetwaters land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. This afternoon game drive takes us to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Moreover, the camp has its own private waterhole and saltlick so we will be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters. Meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 3: Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru
Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Lake Nakuru is famous for its seasonal pink Flamingos and other aquatic birds. As well as seeing many large game animals such as zebras, and gazelles, this is one of our best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where we can see Rothschild’s giraffes. Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve driving along the floor of the Rift Valley, lunch enroute. Afternoon game drives in Masai Mara Game Reserve as per our convenience. Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the best National Reserves in Africa and offers superb game viewing opportunities throughout the year. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for Mara popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo, and the dangerous Crocodiles. It offers breathtaking views as seen in the Film ‘Out of Africa’ much of which was filmed here. On our morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, we have a very good chance of seeing all the major plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog, and many species of antelope (Optional excursions available: hot air balloon or visit a Masai tribal village). Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Early pre – breakfast game viewing in search of the predators and grazers, drive to Lake Naivasha. Boat rides can be organized by our guide within Lake Naivasha at a minimal cost payable directly. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli
After breakfast, proceed to the Amboseli National Park famous for its big game-elephants, lions, and cheetahs are the main attractions-and for its great scenery beauty. Picnic lunch enroute. Afternoon game viewing drive. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lakebed – Lake Amboseli. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow–capped dome of Mount Kilimanjaro. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 8: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive. Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya-Tanzania border, the Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants” some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 9: Departure day
Pre -breakfast game viewing drive in search of the predators and grazers. Depart the Amboseli for Nairobi after lunch and then later transfer to the airport for our onward flight.
