Day 2: Nairobi / Aberdares National Park

After your breakfast, you will depart for the Aberdare Country Club in the Aberdares National Park. Relax at the Aberdare Country Club before lunch is served at 13:00. At 15:00 you are transferred in a lodge vehicle to Ark lodge, one of the two famous tree hotels in the Aberdares National Park. You will then spend the evening leisurely from the comfort of your rooms or bar/restaurant as you watch wild animals come to drink water and lick salt from the floodlit watering hole. Day 3: Aberdares National Park / Lake Nakuru National Park

After your breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Flamingo Hill Camp. You will spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive around the lake until dusk when you return to your camp. There are over 400 species of birds found here, including the Greater and Lesser Flamingo. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lion, leopard, water buck, buffalo, colobus monkey and baboons are all residents here. Meals and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park / Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 08:00 drive to via the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for check in and lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. You can easily see lion, rhino, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, warthog, hyena, jackal, wild dog, leopard, elephant and many kinds of antelope. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Meals and overnight at Sarova Mara Camp.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 06:30 take an early morning game drive in the Mara, returning to the camp for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure or have this opportunity to visit a local Maasai village where you will be able to interact with the local people and learn about the colorful culture of this nomadic pastoralist community. After lunch at the lodge you’ll have an afternoon game drive from 16:00 until dusk. Meal and overnight at Sarova Mara Camp.

Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. Pictures of animals against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You can also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plains animals and birds. Meals and overnight Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Mzima Springs, the source of Mombasa’s water, is located here. These springs are recharged daily with hundreds of millions of litres of crystal clear water by underground streams emanating from the Chyulu Hills. At Mzima, all sorts of animals gather for a drink particularly in the dry season. You may also be able to view hippo and crocodile from the underwater glass tank. Meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
