This safari features Kenya and Tanzania’s premier parks. Visit Lake Nakuru National park thereafter proceeding towards Kenya’s premier wildlife park-the Masai Mara. The tour covers Serengeti, Ngorongoro and finally summing it up with Tarangire National Park. Serengeti is notable for its large migratory herds of wildebeest and zebras with strings of predators in trail. The Ngorongoro crater also offers amazing wildlife viewing and scenery.

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi

Arrival into Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you are met by our representative and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel or similar where you spend the night. Overnight at the Sarova Stanley Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Pick up from Nairobi hotel at around 0730hrs, a safari briefing session with our representative then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Afternoon game drives then return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve driving along the floor of the Rift Valley with lunch enroute. Afternoon game drives in Masai Mara as per your convenience. Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the best National Reserves in Africa and offers superb game viewing opportunities throughout the year. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya, lunch is served in the park at the Mara river, the border of Kenya and Tanzania and the scene for yearly wildebeest migration, after lunch continue with your game drive covering the park into sections. Meals and overnight stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

On your morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, you have a very good chance of seeing all the major plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog, and many species of antelope (Optional excursions available: hot air balloon or visit a Masai tribal village). Meals and overnight stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Serengeti

After breakfast, you leave the Masai Mara and proceed to Serengeti. Cross the Kenya – Tanzania common border at Isebania and Serari and proceed to Serengeti National Park via Ndabaka. Swap the vehicles and take the Tanzanian registered vehicle. Drive to the famous Serengeti National Park, picnic lunch on the way. Enroute game viewing drive. This park is a vast expanse of land with a large concentration of plains animals. Dinner and Overnight at Shuhudia Adventure Camp.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Full day in Serengeti with unlimited game drives in the Park in search of wildlife with packed breakfast or lunch if you like. You could also enjoy just a morning and afternoon game drive if you prefer or simply go out for a longer morning game drive or full day game drive. Meals and Overnight at Shuhudia Adventure Camp.

Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro. The drive is scenic and on arrival, you descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Meals and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 9: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire after breakfast. Lunch enroute followed by an afternoon Game drive through Tarangire. Tarangire is known for its large herds of Elephants which can be viewed at close range. Other animals likely to be seen throughout Tarangire are wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, rhino, warthog, impala, pythons, lions, leopards, and over 50 species of birds. Meals and accommodation at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 10: Tarangire to Arusha

After breakfast, you enjoy your last game drive in this great park. Tarangire supports the biggest population of African Elephants. Depart for Arusha where the tour ends in the early afternoon. Excellent opportunities for those who want to extend to Zanzibar for beach relaxation
